The fairytale officially began December 21, 2008 and two years later on December 21, 2010 the prince decided that it was time for him to make his princess a queen.
There he was scrimmaging through his back seat looking for something that would make the snowman complete..What would be a perfect nose..DING! Woodfiller? Yes! Woodfiller! As he ran back to making his snowman with the woodfiller in his hand she stared nervously while her hands shook from the cold..
Hes crazy! (She would think) its 12 o clock at night and we are building a snowman.. I can't believe he agreed to this.
Two hours later after much needed warm up coffee he drops her off and they hug..for quite a while..
and 30 minutes later they agree to a journey that they could have never imagined..
He was her dream when she did not want to dream anymore. They fell in love when neither thought love existed anymore. She dropped her charges against disney fairytales and he asked her to become his princess.
I love him. I thank God everyday for his life. We have been through so much in so little time( literally in sickness and health and for richer or poorer).
We cannot wait to embark on this journey as husband and wife. We cannot wait to spend our lives together, growing in all aspect. Of course it can't all be a fairytale but when it looks like the ships a-sinking we can always go back to the foundation of why we are together. We can look back at the snowman we decided to build in the middle of the night. The goodbye hugs that lasted 10 minutes. The conversations till 4 am in the car about our hopes and dreams. The great memories we had and will have. The fairytale that God wrote especially for us.
